Due to bad weather, additional heating points for military personnel have been installed at the training grounds for marines and naval aviation airfields of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet), as well as at the training grounds of the army corps of the Southern Military District (YuVO) located on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula. The region is currently experiencing heavy snowfall, freezing temperatures and strong winds.

In total, more than 50 heating points have been deployed to prevent hypothermia and illness of personnel. Here, servicemen can warm up, drink hot tea and dry their outerwear. Also, specialists of the food service of the Black Sea Fleet allocated additional food, which includes fruit juice, bread, onions and bacon. All special heating points are provided with the necessary fuel supplies.

In addition, autonomous field camps APL-500 have been deployed on the basis of the main training grounds of the fleet in Crimea to accommodate personnel. The camp consists of frame tents and is designed to accommodate 500 military personnel, it is equipped with a kitchen, laundry, showers, toilets, diesel generator sets, providing uninterrupted power supply. A comfortable temperature in tents is maintained around the clock by powerful heaters.
