“Three more industrial quarters with a total area of ​​almost 40 hectares will appear in Moscow. Now there are warehouses and parking lots. Investors will invest 45 billion rubles in the complex development of the sites of the former industrial zones, and the annual revenues to the city budget will amount to almost 3.9 billion rubles. More than 8.5 thousand new jobs will appear at modern enterprises and public and business facilities, ”the deputy mayor said.

According to the head Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow Alexandra Prokhorova, In the new industrial quarters, investors will build about 560 thousand square meters of real estate.

“High-tech production will occupy almost 340 thousand square meters, and for public and business construction – banks, office centers, shops – about 220 thousand square meters are laid,” he said.

New city blocks will appear in the North, Tsaritsyno and South Butovo districts. One of the sites is located at the intersection of Dmitrovskoye and Dolgoprudnenskoye highways, the second is between Promyshlennaya Street and Kavkazsky Boulevard, the third is not far from Varshavskoye Highway and Butovo MCD-2 station.

The Industrial Quarters project allows the development of virtually abandoned urban areas. Currently, 130 territories with a total area of ​​about two thousand hectares are in the process of reorganization. Investors will invest more than seven trillion rubles in these projects and create about 500 thousand new jobs, and budget revenues will amount to almost three trillion rubles. The urban development potential of all quarters is 33 million square meters of real estate. At least 50 kindergartens, 40 schools, 27 sports facilities, fitness centers and swimming pools will be built here. Another 320 hectares will be landscaped – parks, squares and alleys will be laid out.
