Employees of the Military Automobile Inspection (VAI) of the Southern Military District (YuVO) summed up the work in the outgoing year.

Positive tendencies in the work were noted: specialists ensured trouble-free operation of equipment, use of mobile vehicles for their intended purpose.

Regularly, measures were taken to prevent accidents – for this, inspections of the operation of automobile equipment on the routes were carried out, as well as sudden mass inspections of the operation of automobile equipment, the organization of the internal service in the parks, the procedure for leaving and returning cars were controlled.

In 2021, the servicemen carried out preventive measures “Auto tire”, “Mass control”, “Seat belt”, “Sober driver” and “Tape recorder”, aimed at preventing accidents and observing traffic rules.

As a result of the campaign “For road safety”, the employees of the VAI managed to achieve a 38% reduction in the accident rate on official vehicles in 2021.

Also, employees of the VAI YuVO accompanied mechanized convoys of equipment on the marches during the exercises, ensured road safety during the construction and movement of multifunctional mobile hospitals, during the joint exercises “Friendship-2021” and “Indra-2021″, the events of the International Military-Technical Forum ” ARMY 2021 ”, events dedicated to the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In addition, the employees of the VAI YuVO took part in various competitions, in particular, in the international stage of the field training competition “Road Patrol” in the State of Qatar, where Lieutenant K. Avsanov K.E. took the 1st place in the competition “The best traffic controller”. According to the results of the competitions, the team of the Russian Federation took 1st place among the participants in the competition.
