Specialists of the municipal economy complex have repaired and reconstructed 27 communication collectors this year, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Utilities and Improvement Peter Biryukov.
“A lot of work has been done to improve the reliability of communication collectors, within the framework of which 17 objects were reconstructed, 10 more were overhauled,” noted Pyotr Biryukov. – The collection facilities of the capital is a unique underground city that has no analogues in Russia and the world in terms of length, network ramification and compactness of the communications laid inside. “
According to him, the total length of the collectors is 800 kilometers. During the reconstruction, the specialists restored the waterproofing of the collectors, strengthened the building structures, replaced the technological and cable metal structures, updated the fire alarm and gas-air environment control systems.
“Overhaul of 10 objects has been completed, including such significant ones as collectors“ Substation Korovinskoe Shosse ”,“ Novye Cheryomushki ”,“ Krupskiy ”,“ Gazetny ”,“ Belinsky ”. During the work, special attention was paid to the renovation of control rooms. The communications laid in these collectors provide heat, water and communications for more than half a million Muscovites, ”stressed Pyotr Biryukov.
He also added that reconstruction of the Zaryadye collector complex continues in the Central Administrative District, and work has begun on the modernization of the Akademika Sakharova and Mozhaisky collector complex.
By 2025, it is planned to modernize more than 108 kilometers of collectors. The specialists will improve the security systems, security and fire alarm systems and the dispatch control system.
