As part of the redeployment of the main forces of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL), more than 20 ships arrived at the port of the city of Kaspiysk.

Small missile and artillery ships, as well as basic minesweepers in service with the CFL, arrived at the new port of Kaspiysk from Makhachkala. The port was built to house the forces and assets of the flotilla as part of a plan to upgrade the infrastructure of the KFL base.

The engineering and technical staff of the brigades and ship equipment intended for servicing ships and preparing them for going to sea were also delivered to the point of permanent deployment.

At the moment, the servicemen have begun routine maintenance of equipment and weapons, as well as the preparation of ships for going to sea. In addition, on the eve of the New Year holidays, a training session will be held to develop combat readiness, as well as an inspection of the training and material technical base.
