Since the beginning of the year, more than six thousand violations have been identified.

In 2021, real estate inspectors surveyed 561 thousand kilometers. This was announced by the chief State Inspectorate for Real Estate Vladislav Ovchinsky.

“In order to preserve the architectural appearance of Moscow, we use various methods and technologies for the survey of land plots. At the same time, despite the use of high-tech control tools to confirm the identified signs of offenses – unauthorized construction, illegal reconstruction, land grabbing, misuse, unauthorized access restriction, as well as littering, inspectors enter the territory, ”Vladislav Ovchinsky said.

According to him, on average, each of the inspectors covered over 3.7 thousand kilometers per year, which is comparable to the distance from Moscow to Barcelona. Most often, men choose this profession, but women also work in the State Inspectorate. They make daily marches of 14 kilometers. Today, the department employs 150 inspectors; in a year they walked all over Moscow 127 times and inspected all streets, highways and roads.

In total, over six thousand violations have been identified since the beginning of the year, of which almost 4.9 thousand are in the field of land use, more than a thousand are related to non-residential premises. Over 40 percent of violations have already been eliminated, the rest are under control.
