Specialists of the municipal economy complex have completed the improvement of Akademika Pilyugin Street in the south-west of the capital. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Peter Biryukov

“The work was carried out within the framework of improving the transport and pedestrian accessibility of the territory adjacent to the new station of the Big Circle Line of the Novatorskaya metro station. With its opening, passenger and pedestrian flows have seriously increased, so the task was to make this space convenient and functional for local residents, while maintaining the transit function, ”the deputy mayor said.

The specialists moved all overhead cable lines underground, equipped the drainage system, tidied the sidewalks, replaced the asphalt pavement of the roadway, equipped comfortable staircases with ramps leading to Vorontsovsky Park.

45 new lanterns and street lamps with energy-saving lamps were installed on Akademik Pilyugin Street. Eight modern stops have been equipped for public transport passengers.

We paid special attention to landscaping. “Trees and shrubs growing on the street have been preserved and carried out for them special care and rehabilitation measures. Additionally, we planted 50 trees and 8.6 thousand shrubs, equipped a lawn with an area of ​​14.5 thousand square meters, ”added Pyotr Biryukov.
