Order of December 18, 2021 No. 3706-r

Order of December 18, 2021 No. 3706-r

1.8 billion rubles will be allocated to modernize the state information system of compulsory medical insurance (GIS CHI). This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The modernization of the GIS CHI presupposes the organization of its interaction with the unified state information system in the field of health care. This will help to quickly resolve issues related to the provision of free medical care to citizens, simplify the interaction of participants in the compulsory health insurance system, and, therefore, will increase the availability of medical care for citizens.

GIS OMC was launched in 2021… It is designed to record information about medical care, control the efficiency and quality of its provision, as well as to maintain departmental reporting. It includes a unified register of insured persons, which is the basis for the transition to a digital compulsory medical insurance policy. In addition, within the framework of the GIS, it is planned to launch a single Internet portal of compulsory health insurance. Its purpose is to increase the openness and accessibility of information about CHI.
