In the anti-aircraft missile battalion of a separate motorized rifle brigade, a single day of an air defense specialist passed. In the course of a planned combat training event, the servicemen made an off-road march to the specified area and worked out the deployment of complexes in combat positions.

The crews worked out the issues of transferring the complexes to various degrees of combat readiness. After completing the task, the division fulfilled the standard for folding with a change in combat position.

More than 60 military personnel and about 10 pieces of equipment were involved in the classes. The training also involved the crews of new types of combat vehicles – the reconnaissance and control module on the tracked chassis MT-LBu “Barnaul-T”. This model of military equipment has increased maneuverability and has its own built-in aerial reconnaissance equipment. Such technical capabilities make it possible to continuously control subordinate units and their weapons during combat operations in positions, as well as during a march.

During the lesson, each crew was assessed by the deployment of these installations on time and by repelling the attacks of the air attack of the simulated enemy.

Today, the air defense units of the coastal forces of the Northern Fleet are equipped with the most modern anti-aircraft missile and missile-gun systems. The personnel of these units are constantly improving their combat training and are preparing to act both in the Far North and the Arctic, and in other regions.
