Investors will invest in projects a total of 10.6 billion rubles. About 1.5 thousand jobs will be created.

In the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow, at least 10 resident companies will start production in 2022. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov

“On the sites of the special economic zone in Pechatniki and“ Alabushevo ”next year, manufacturers of medicines, medical devices, microelectronics, measuring equipment, cable-transport systems are preparing to open. The enterprises are at different stages of preparation for launch: some companies are just completing construction, others have already adjusted production processes and are ready to reach the planned capacity. Investors’ investments in these projects will amount to 10.6 billion rubles, ”he said.

The new SEZ factories will become the center of attraction for qualified personnel.

“Enterprises planning to open next year will create about one and a half thousand jobs. The most demanded specialization will be the field of medical technology. About 70 percent of new employees will be engaged in the production of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, ”said the head Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov.

The main area for the production of new products will be the Pechatniki site, where seven residents are implementing projects in the brownfield format (with existing buildings).

“Residents use the possibilities of ready-made premises with engineering infrastructure for a faster start of production. This format requires less investment and allows both large companies and compact high-tech industries to work effectively. At the same time, the preferential tax regime at all sites of the Moscow SEZ makes it possible to invest the released funds in new developments. Thus, over the entire period of operation of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, residents have saved 3.4 billion rubles, ”said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone includes five sites. One of them is located in Pechatniki and four in Zelenograd: Alabushevo, Mikron, MIET, Angstrem. Their total area is 223.3 hectares.

Residents benefit from special support measures. So, they are exempted from payment of property, transport, land tax, customs duties. The income tax rate for them is only two percent. There are also benefits for the lease of land allocated for the construction of an enterprise, and upon its completion, it is possible to buy out the leased land plot for one percent of its cadastral value.
