In Kamchatka, servicemen of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) Marine Corps have completed over 150 training parachute jumps in less than a week. They will not make more jumps in the past year.

Servicemen parachuted in special equipment and weapons, including hand grenade launchers and machine guns. They landed on unequipped sites with high snow cover. After the landing, the Marines practiced capturing and holding the bridgehead to ensure the landing of the main forces of the Marine Corps formation.

The jumps were performed from military transport aircraft An-12 from altitudes of 900 and 1500 m using the D-10 and Crossbow parachute systems.
