In total, more than three thousand elevators have been replaced in the city this year.

In houses in the northeast of Moscow, 173 elevators were replaced in a year regional overhaul program

Most of the new elevators – 12 each – were installed in the Severny (9th Severnaya Line, Building 1, Building 1), Butyrsky (Yablochkova Street, 49) and Yaroslavsky (Yaroslavskoe Shosse, 28).

The oldest building where the elevators were replaced is a brick six-story building on Oktyabrskaya Street (building 38, building 1) in the Maryina Roshcha area. The house with two entrances was built according to an individual project in 1926. Until 1936, Oktyabrskaya Street was called Alexandrovskaya – in honor of the Alexander Institute for Noble Maidens.

The tallest building, where the elevator equipment was updated, is a 24-storey building on Yablochkov Street (building 31g). The panel building with one entrance was erected in 1994 according to an individual project.

As noted earlier by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Peter Biryukov, in total in the capital this year they replaced more than three thousand elevators… The leaders in terms of the number of upgraded lifts are the Yugo-Vostochny (654 lifts), Yugo-Zapadny (499 lifts) and Vostochny (371 lifts) districts. Replacement planned for 2022 over 2.2 thousand elevators

In houses where residents accumulate funds for overhaul on the account of a regional operator, elevators are changed strictly in the year of the end of the 25-year service life without further extending the operating period. If there are several elevators at the entrance, they are changed one at a time so that the residents do not experience any inconvenience.
