In total, 73 new houses were transferred for settlement in 2021. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Development Policy Andrey Bochkarev.

“Since the beginning of 2021, relocation has been organized in 29 districts of the city under the renovation program in 50 new buildings. This made it possible to provide residents of more than 150 old houses with new apartments. Thanks to the quarterly development, in the future, Muscovites will receive not only new apartments, but also schools, kindergartens, clinics and other necessary infrastructure within walking distance, ”said Andrei Bochkarev.

He noted that the leader in the number of new buildings, which were transferred for settlement, was the South-Eastern District. Residents of 40 five-story buildings are already moving into nine houses in the Ryazan region and Lublin. This is followed by the Eastern District – there the settlement of houses under the renovation program began in five districts at once.

Also, the first new buildings under the renovation program were erected in the Basmanny District and Solntsevo. In total, these new buildings have 532 apartments, which allows for the relocation of about 1,100 residents of the nearest five-story buildings. The new building under the renovation program on Shchorsa Street in Solntsevo was handed over for occupancy in July, and the first tenants should move to a new house on Baumanskaya Street in Basmanniy in January 2022.

Supervisor Department of Urban Development Policy Sergey Levkinrecalled that the resettlement of 67 old buildings has been completed this year. He noted that during the period of the renovation program, 151 houses were settled on the territory of the city, of which 74 were dismantled using smart demolition technology.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017, it includes 5175 houses. In 2022 plan to build about one and a half million square meters of housing.
