In total, more than three thousand elevators have been replaced in Moscow this year.

In Moscow’s Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas, 23 elevators have been replaced this year. The work was carried out as part of the regional program for the overhaul of apartment buildings.

Five lifts were replaced at 30 in the village of Voskresenskoye. This seven-story building with five entrances was built in 1995 according to an individual project.

The tallest buildings in the Troitsk and Novomoskovsky administrative areas, where elevators were replaced, were two single-access 16-storey buildings in Troitsk. They are located at the following addresses: microdistrict B, house 54 and Oktyabrsky prospect, house 11.

In addition, building 54 in microdistrict B in Troitsk is the oldest building where the elevator was replaced. It was built in 1994.

Deputy Mayor of Moscow for housing and communal services and improvement Peter Biryukov previously noted that more than three thousand elevators were replaced in the capital this year. Among the leaders in terms of the number of updated elevators are the South-East (654), South-West (499) and East (371) administrative districts.

Since 2018, elevators in houses have been changed strictly in the year of the end of the 25-year service life without further extending the operating period. Experts dismantle old equipment and install new lifts. If there are several elevators at the entrance, they are changed one at a time so that the residents do not experience any inconvenience.

Since 2011, more than 39 thousand elevators have been replaced in Moscow. Equipment for them is produced in Moscow and the Moscow region.
