In total, more than three thousand elevators have been replaced in the capital this year.
In 2021, 654 elevators were replaced in residential buildings in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow. The work was carried out as part of the regional program for the overhaul of apartment buildings.
Most of the elevators in the southeast were changed at the address: Lugovoy proezd, building 3. The house was built in 1995. The 12-storey building has 11 entrances, each of which has two lifts – a passenger and a cargo one. All 22 elevators have been replaced by specialists.
The oldest building in the district, where the elevator equipment was changed this year, is a house in the Yuzhnoportoviy district. It is located at the following address: 7th Kozhukhovskaya street, 4, building 2. This is a seven-story brick house with two entrances built in 1954, erected according to an individual project.
In addition, the elevators have been renewed in six 22-storey buildings at the following addresses: Novocherkassky Boulevard, 20, building 2; Myachkovsky Boulevard, 20, building 2; Myachkovsky Boulevard, house 14, building 2; Porechnaya street, house 5/14; Porechnaya street, house 21; Tikhaya street, building 4. These are the tallest buildings in the SEAD, where elevator equipment was replaced in 2021.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for housing and communal services and improvement Peter Biryukov previously reported that more than three thousand elevators were replaced in the capital this year. SEAD has become the leader in the number of newly installed lifts. The second place was taken by the South-Western Administrative District. 499 new elevators were installed in the houses located in the South-West Administrative District. The Eastern Administrative District closes the top three, where 371 lifts have been renovated.
Since 2018, elevators in houses have been changed strictly in the year of the end of the 25-year service life without further extending the operating period. Experts dismantle old equipment and install new lifts. If there are several elevators at the entrance, they are changed one at a time so that the residents do not experience any inconvenience.
Since 2011, more than 39 thousand elevators have been replaced in the capital. Equipment for them is produced in Moscow and the Moscow region.
