In total, the helicopter pilots spent more than 2 thousand hours in the air, exceeding the annual flight plan by 10 percent. More than a third of landings were made in the dark.

Within the framework of combat training, about 70 exercises were conducted with the crews to search for and detect submarines of a mock enemy using anti-submarine weapons in the daytime and at night, as well as search and rescue people in distress at sea, and raise them aboard from the surface of the water.

The pilots carried out tasks to ensure the safety of civilian navigation in the Gulf of Aden and, as intended, in the far and near sea zones with flights to anti-submarine security, having made more than five long voyages together with the ships of the Baltic Fleet.

In the Baltic Sea, the helicopter pilots took part in tests of the newest ships built for the Russian Navy.
