The territory will include a stadium with stands, a multifunctional area, including for workout classes, with an obstacle path, a skate park and a pump track, as well as a complex of sports pavilions with an amphitheater.

In 2022, the reconstruction of the Avangard stadium in the Perovo region will begin. About it in my blog wrote Sergei Sobyanin… The sports complex was built in 1954 and has never been repaired since then. Now it is impossible to play sports at the stadium.

“The previous owners planned to permanently close the stadium and build up its territory with commercially attractive objects. We didn’t let them do it. At the request of local residents, the Moscow Government has formalized the ownership of the Avangard sports complex and plans to reconstruct it, ”the Moscow Mayor wrote.

On the territory of the stadium, many objects are destroyed to the ground, they cannot be restored. However, the main architectural elements in the neoclassical style have survived and will be carefully restored.

After the reconstruction, there will be a stadium with stands and an athletics center, a multifunctional sports area, including workout, with an obstacle path, volleyball, basketball and badminton courts. There will be two playgrounds for children, a fitness area for people of different ages, a skate park and a pump track.

They will also make a complex of multifunctional sports pavilions with an amphitheater. It will host rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, handball, volleyball, basketball, fencing, martial arts, yoga and dance classes. In addition, a fountain will appear, a rental pavilion (for using the infrastructure of the Izmailovsky Forest Park) and a cafe will open.

You can express your opinion on the project for the reconstruction of the stadium “Avangard” in the project “Active citizen”
