Active Citizen Project summed up the work in the outgoing year. In 2021, the project turned seven years old, the number of its participants exceeded 5.7 million. More than 300 votes and 35 quizzes took place on the site. The project participants evaluated more than 300 city novelties and gave almost three million ratings under the heading “Capital Pulse”.

“This year,“ Active Citizen ”held more than 300 votes – the participants evaluated restoration and improvement projects, expressed their opinion about the past events, chose names for metro stations, the first electric river tram, and even gave a name to the new animals of the Moscow Zoo,” said Alexander Pischelko, Head of the State Institution “New Management Technologies”, responsible for the development of the “Active Citizen” project.

Most people took part in the voting on the choice of names for the new stations MCD-2 and MCD-4. Also popular were the voting, which resulted in the selection of the best parks for evening walks and the evaluation of the project to create a single route in the Yauza park. More than 200 thousand Muscovites took part in each of them.

“The Moscow government is systematically working to develop the project to make it more user-friendly. An important revision of this year is the update of the Public Discussions service, where you can study urban planning projects and leave your suggestions. The mobile application has also been updated, making it even easier and faster to find the desired section or vote, “said the Minister of the Moscow Government, head Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow Edward Lysenko

In the spring, the project’s website now has a section entitled “Active Citizen for Children”. Here, for young Muscovites, they collected poems and stories that were read by famous people. Also in the section you can find comics about Moscow, rebuses and puzzles.

This year, “Active Citizen” has updated its mobile application. It has become modern and comfortable. A bright unique design and a new interface have been developed for the application, which makes it easy to find the desired section, participate in all available polls, find out city news and rate the “Pulse of the capital”.

In 2021, the townspeople took part in the “Spring Marathon” and “Autumn Marathon”. In the first, more than 46 thousand people answered questions drawn up by experts and employees of Moscow museums. In the fall, twice as many residents joined intellectual quizzes – about 90 thousand.

By the end of the year, the “Capital Pulse” rubric received about three million ratings. Interesting facts about Moscow are most often given by “active citizens” as five – almost two million in a year and a half.

In 2021, we expanded the “Charity” category of the incentive store. Participants of the Active Citizen project could exchange points for goods made by wards of non-profit organizations. And in total this year, the participants of the “Active Citizen” transferred more than 17 million rubles to charity.

Detailed information on the results of the work of the “Active Citizen” is available on the new year’s page… There you can also participate in themed games and congratulate the project on the upcoming year 2022.

The “Active Citizen” project is supervised by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies and the State Treasury Institution “New Management Technologies”.
