Servicemen of the Airborne Forces continue to take part in the All-Russian action “Christmas tree” of desires, held by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In his letter to Santa Claus, a 4th grade student from the city of Ivanovo, the boy Arseny asked the Airborne Forces Command to spend one day among the servicemen of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Division.

On the territory of the military camp, the children were shown how classes with military personnel in drill and special tactical training, maintenance of airborne combat vehicles are held. They were able to see with their own eyes how this happens and even ride a BMD.

After the excursion, the children were taken to the soldier’s canteen and fed with a delicious soldier’s lunch. Then the children visited the class in which classes are held on simulators of the anti-aircraft missile system.

Arseny and his friends visited a parachute system repair and maintenance workshop, where the servicemen showed the students the D-10 parachute system and told about its tactical and technical characteristics.

All the children were very happy that they were able to visit one of the units of the Ivanovo Airborne Forces unit and see with their own eyes how one of the days of a paratrooper soldier goes by.
