The seamen of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) have completed the first stage of preparation for going to sea. At the base station of surface ships, under the leadership of the commanders of the formations, the reception of special course tasks K-1 was carried out, the organization of daily service and the preparation of the ship for battle and cruise was checked.

At the moment, the crews of the missile ships “Dagestan” and “Tatarstan”, the small missile and artillery ships “Grad Sviyazhsk”, “Uglich”, “Veliky Ustyug” and “Astrakhan”, as well as raid and base minesweepers have successfully passed their course tasks.

Over the course of a month, more than 30 crews of warships, boats and KFL support vessels conducted various naval exercises and drills in anti-aircraft and anti-sabotage defense, worked out radiation, chemical and biological protection measures.

By the end of January, the crews of all KFL support ships and vessels will complete the development and delivery of similar coursework tasks. The next stage in the combat training of the flotilla’s naval formations will be an exit to the Caspian Sea with a complex of missile and artillery firing at sea, air and coastal targets.
