The all-army stage of ten competitions will take place on the territory of the Southern Military District (YuVO).

“Tank Biathlon” and “Suvorov Onslaught” will take place at the Prudboy training ground in the Volgograd region. The “Sniper Frontier” and “Military Medical Relay” competitions will be held at the Shalkhi training ground in Vladikavkaz. In Sevastopol, divers will traditionally compete in the “Depth” competition, in Yeisk, military air defense specialists will take part in the “Clear Sky” competition, in the village of Terskol in Kabardino-Balkaria, the competition of mountain divisions “Elbrus Ring” will take place. On the basis of the training center in the city of Volzhsky, military engineers will compete in the Engineering Formula and Safe Route contests.

With the beginning of the new academic year in the military units of the Southern Military District, the selection of the best specialists in more than 30 competitions of various branches of the armed forces, branches of the armed forces and areas of professional activity began.

Earlier, the commander of the Southern Military District, General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, announced the results of the participation of military personnel in Army-2021.

“The representation of the district in the International Army Games in 2021 has increased, a total of 288 military personnel were selected for the teams of the Russian Federation, which is 58% higher than last year,” said A. Dvornikov.

Within the framework of the International Army Games “ARMY-2021”, representatives of the Southern Military District took 10 first places and four second places in 14 competitions, and the flight crews of the 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense in the Aviadarts competition set an overall competition record, improving the result compared to last year by 12 points.
