Servicemen of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Force with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, together with the veteran organization “Union of Paratroopers” of the Ivanovo region, visited the Kohomsk correctional school, where they wished the children a Happy New Year and the approaching Christmas.

The paratroopers showed the children the D-10 human parachute system, its design, as well as the methods of its use when landing from various types of aircraft and helicopters. They showed an incomplete disassembly and assembly of the AK 74M assault rifle. Each child was able to touch, feel the weight of military weapons and try to disassemble them on their own for a while.

After watching the exhibition, Santa Claus and Snegurochka held a New Year’s party for the pupils of the school. Despite the difficulties in movement, all the children danced in circles and took an active part in interesting games, recited poetry to Santa Claus and received gifts for this.

At the end of the festive events, the pupils of the school were presented with sweet gifts. The children were delighted with such attention from the paratroopers.

The paratroopers visited the Kokhom school institution in the Ivanovo region for the first time.

This promotion is not the first of its kind this month. On the eve of the representatives of the guards unit of the Airborne Forces visited the Ivanovo orphanage “Rodnichok”, where they wished the kids a Happy New Year, and large families from the military units of the unit received New Year’s gifts.

As part of the joint New Year’s actions by the command of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Force, the Officers of Russia organizations and the Union of Paratroopers of the Ivanovo Region, about 1000 children received gifts for the New Year.
