More than 135 thousand military personnel and civilian personnel of formations, military units and institutions of the Central Military District (CVD), as well as their family members have been revaccinated against coronavirus since July 1, 2021. The head of the medical service of the Central Military District, Colonel of the Medical Service Vsevolod Kaminsky, told reporters about this.

“Revaccination was carried out voluntarily among all categories of servicemen and their families, civilian personnel of formations and military units of the Central Military District. Before the procedure, everyone underwent a mandatory medical examination by a therapist, measured their body temperature and did a test for the presence of antibodies to coronavirus infection, ”said Vsevolod Kaminsky. In addition, the head of the medical service of the Central Military District noted that the implementation of measures to counter coronavirus infection made it possible to reduce the incidence of sickness in military personnel by 2 times.

Earlier it was reported that revaccination of military personnel and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has been carried out since July 1 in accordance with the decisions of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and the operational headquarters of the military department in order to prevent the introduction and spread of a new coronavirus infection.
