A new SKO-10K integrated water treatment plant has been supplied to equip the motorized rifle unit of the Western Military District (ZVO) in the Leningrad Region, which will lead to a significant improvement in water supply to troops in the field.

The new station is designed to purify water from natural pollution, as well as from poisonous, highly toxic, radioactive substances and bacterial agents. It guarantees the supply of drinking quality water to army units performing combat missions in various climatic zones, in all weather conditions and practically without restrictions on the requirements for source water.

The new station implements a modern reagent-free resource-saving membrane technology for water purification, which makes it possible to reduce the time of its deployment and coagulation by 2-3 times, as well as increase the service life of the filtration devices by 5-10 times compared to the previous sample. When purifying water, along with ultra- and microfiltration, an effective method of disinfecting it by ultraviolet irradiation is used.

Thanks to the use of new technologies, the quality of water purification will significantly improve, and with a significantly larger amount of pollutants. The SKO-10K station is capable of obtaining drinking water from natural water, including those contaminated with various bacteria and viruses. And also from water with a high degree of contamination with mechanical particles, suspensions, colloidal organic compounds (including chemical warfare agents) and radionuclides.

In the design of the new station, all processes of water purification and disinfection are fully automated. It is mounted on a modern high-pass KamAZ-6350 chassis.
