Platoon kits of the mobile anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the ultra-short-range air defense system “Gibka-S” will enter the troops for the first time next year.

Combat vehicles are equipped with reconnaissance equipment and an automated control system, which is part of a unified tactical control system, which will allow them to conduct round-the-clock combat duty in air defense and control fire in real time.

The supply of a modern portable anti-aircraft missile system MANPADS “Verba”, which is highly effective in conditions of optical interference, will also continue to be delivered to the formations of the military districts.

The short-range Gibka-S anti-aircraft missile system is designed to provide air defense and is able to withstand aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles and precision weapon systems flying at low and extremely low altitudes at any time of the day and in conditions of limited visibility.

The complex is equipped with four ready-to-launch missiles “Igla”, “Igla-S” or “Verba” and is installed on the chassis of the armored car “Tigr-M”.
