Servicemen of the naval staff and military units of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) took part in the celebrations dedicated to the celebration of the Nativity of Christ.

At the invitation of the Sevastopol Deanery, Orthodox sailors attended a festive Christmas service in churches located on the territory of military units and in the immediate vicinity of the places of deployment.

Christmas services with the participation of military personnel were held in the Vladimir Cathedral – the tomb of admirals, the Vladimir Cathedral in Chersonesos, in the St. Nicholas Church and in the Church of the Archangel Michael.

Also, Christmas prayers were held in ship temples on board the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the guards missile cruiser Moskva and the rescue ship Kommuna.

Servicemen of the Novorossiysk naval base visited the temples located on the territory of military units, as well as the ones closest to the locations of the units.

All events were held in compliance with anti-epidemic measures in force in the regions where the Black Sea Fleet formations and formations are based.
