At the military base of the Southern Military District (YuVO) in Armenia in 2022, it was decided to increase the number of events for military personnel, civilian personnel and their families.

“In view of the special conditions of service in the current year, a wide range of events, both cultural, leisure and sports, have been planned for members of the families of military personnel, as well as civilian personnel,” said Colonel
Sergey Gubarev.

Activities include excursions to the compound museum, concert programs and performances by ensembles. Also, military-patriotic meetings, the Open Day of the military base will become regular.

In the auditorium of the new Cultural and Leisure Center (CDC), a weekly screening of new feature films in Russian will be organized for families of military personnel.

Also, in the premises of the CDC, circles for children of military personnel and civilian personnel of the compound will continue to work.

In the new sports complex, everyone will continue to train in order to improve health and maintain the level of physical fitness. The instructors of the sports sections organize competitions for the athletes of the military base and the families of the military personnel of the Southern Military District.

The leadership of the unit also provides for a number of cultural and military-patriotic events with the participation of the Yunarmeys of the local garrison.
