The Caspian Flotilla (CFL) Marine team has begun preparations for the Marine Assault Competition, which will take place in May 2022.

The Marines practice daily under the guidance of the team’s trainer, a Marine Corps officer. Also, specialists and instructors in physical, mountain and sea landing training take part in the training of military personnel.

For high-quality and full-fledged training of personnel, a new method and a special training plan have been developed, as well as a set of activities that will be carried out on difficult rough terrain.

This year, the training is organized mainly in the mountainous areas of the Adanak training ground. To train endurance, the marines will have to make marches from 5 to 10 km in full uniform at least 2 times a week, which will also allow achieving coordination of actions, mutual assistance and maximum confidence of the team as a whole.

At the point of permanent deployment, the training of KFL marines is carried out daily on modern sports complexes and simulators, which allow them to train strength, endurance and speed. The workload on the athletes will gradually increase in accordance with the team’s intensive training plan. This technique makes it possible to achieve high indicators of the physical fitness of servicemen both in the individual and in the team standings, which significantly increases the chances of winning the final competitions.

At the stages of the Marines Professional Skills Competition of the International Army Games of 2022, the KFL marines will have to perform military-applied exercises: running at various distances, overcoming an obstacle course, hand-to-hand combat, shooting at targets with small arms, driving, and also taking part in team relay.
