A manufacturer of finishing materials and furniture, a manufacturer of vegetable meat, a company for the production of nut pastes and snacks, a manufacturer of meat products and a company for roasting green coffee have opened their enterprises in Moscow. And the manufacturer of advertising products and lighting equipment, which had previously opened an enterprise in the capital, decided to lease additional space.
These six companies will occupy almost four thousand square meters within the Moscow Ring Road, said the head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. Alexander Prokhorov.
“Three enterprises are located in Basmann, Timiryazevsky and Nagorny districts, the remaining three will start operating in Ochakovo-Matveyevsky. These six companies will create 170 jobs and invest almost 1.7 billion rubles in their development, which is almost half of the planned investments of all 17 localized enterprises in 2021, ”he said.
The number of companies that the city helped to localize production increased by almost 2.5 times last year.
The head of the manufacturer of finishing materials and furniture, Dmitry Gurov, said that thanks to the city he managed to realize an ambitious idea. “We use modern equipment in our work, and our production is harmless. We decided that it was time to expand and we needed to locate the production of finishing materials for decorating furniture facades as close to the center as possible so that our clients, business and busy people, could find time in their busy schedule and visit our production showroom. The city helped to find a suitable place, ”he said.
Sergey Dodonov, co-founder of the vegetable meat producer, also speaks of productive work with the city. “In July, we raised $ 1.5 million from one of the Russian venture capital funds and one of the key players in the global investment market in alternative proteins, which allowed us to expand our product range and start increasing production volumes. The Moscow Government helped us find a suitable platform for the development of the project, which made it possible for the team to focus on product tasks, ”he said.
Yuliana Nikolaeva, general director of the company for the production of nut products, noted that, with the support of the city, it was possible to settle on a new site. “We were looking for her all over Moscow for six months. APR selected a suitable territory according to our requirements, and also accompanied all negotiations and the signing of a lease agreement, ”she says.
The Moscow Industrial Development Agency unites several areas of work to develop the industrial potential of the capital: integrated development of territories, localization of production, service “Technology Bank”, a hotline for support of industrial enterprises, as well as a technological audit of industrial enterprises. During the year, the agency’s employees process up to 140 applications, each company is offered at least six accommodation options to choose from.
