About 50 national dishes were prepared for the Russian servicemen of the 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan during the New Year holidays.

The festive tables were decorated with traditional salad “Olivier”, “Greek”, “Village”, salad of fresh vegetables and greens “Shakarob”, as well as other traditional dishes of Tajik, Uzbek and Russian cuisines, including pilaf, manti, dumplings. Also, the servicemen’s menu included national pastries, fresh fruits, sweets, cookies and gingerbread.

The 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan is Russia’s largest military facility outside its borders. Located in two cities – Dushanbe and Bokhtar. It includes motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units, air defense units, RCB protection and communications.
