From January 2 to February 28, the international festival “Snow and Ice in Moscow” is being held in Gorky Park. In total, 50 professional ice and snow sculptures will appear in the park during the festival. You can watch their creation in real time. The festival is attended by masters from Russia, Finland, Italy, Uzbekistan, Belarus and the DPR.
The Russian team is represented by 23 cities, including Moscow, Aleksin, Perm, Nizhny Tagil, Aleksandrov, Khimki, Kargopol, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Surgut, Korolev, Togliatti, Vologda, Barnaul, Sochi, Petrozavodsk, Yakutsk, Salekhard, Khabarovsk, Ryazan , Yoshkar-Ola, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
Together they create a space with ice sculptures, snow figures and six-meter snowmen that represent the regions of Russia.
The festival has already opened an exhibition of the Disney TV channel, which presents six ice figures from the cartoons “Frozen”, “Moana”, “Mickey Mouse and Friends”, “Gravity Falls” and others. Free snow sculpture workshops await guests every day. With the guidance of professionals and with the help of a special tool, it will be possible to create snow figures.
The festival will be attended by actors, bloggers, musicians and writers. Together with the masters, they will create an alley of 16 star snowmen, where you can walk and take a photo for memory. From Friday to Sunday, a theatrical and musical program takes place, and on February 23, a special program with interactive performances and professional actors from the theaters “High Brothers”, “DaMy”, “Curtain”, “Likk”, “Black Square”, “Eccentrics” will take place. Kanikuly, Pulsar and Sosferas.

The event takes place outdoors, so there is no need for a QR code at the entrance. However, guests are asked to maintain social distance and wear masks.
