So, starting next month, “Pushkinskaya Karta” will be accepted not only in theaters, museums and concert halls, but also in cinemas – when buying tickets for Russian films created with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Fund. During the year, it will be possible to spend up to 2 thousand rubles on visiting cinemas.

Mikhail Mishustin announced this decision during a meeting of the Government Council for the Development of Russian Cinematography in December 2021. Commenting on the signed resolution at a meeting with deputy prime ministers, he noted that there are many good directors, screenwriters, and actors in Russia. Thanks to state support, even more young people will get acquainted with their work.

The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Development by February 1 to provide all the necessary conditions for purchasing tickets to cinemas for watching Russian films within the framework of the Pushkinskaya Karta program. “It should be as simple and convenient as buying tickets for exhibitions and performances,” added the head of the Cabinet.

The Pushkinskaya Card is a special bank card for young people that can be used to pay only when buying tickets for cultural events. The money is sent to the account of such cards by the state. This program was launched in 2021 at the initiative of the President of Russia and has become very popular. In just four months, about 3.7 million people took part in it, tickets were purchased for more than 2 billion rubles.
