For reference:

BPK “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” was built at the Leningrad shipyard named after A.A. Zhdanov. On January 10, 1982, the Naval Flag was raised on it.

In 2010, at the Severnaya Verf Shipyard in St. Petersburg, a deep modernization of the ship was completed, within the framework of which the weapons and life support systems were replaced at the VPK “Vice-Admiral Kulakov”.

The crew of the ship has repeatedly taken part in long voyages in the Mediterranean, the North Atlantic sea zone and the Arctic.

The “birthday” of the ship is celebrated on the next anniversary from the moment the ship was admitted to the fleet and the crew began to carry out tasks for their intended purpose.
