The festive atmosphere in Moscow was created by more than 4.5 thousand light volumetric decorative structures and about a thousand artificial New Year trees, installed within the framework of a single design concept for the city and sponsorship programs. On 150 buildings, bridges, overpasses and other objects, architectural and artistic lighting worked in a festive mode.

On especially dangerous sections of roads (primarily on the Moscow Ring Road), 41 trucks were on duty around the clock.
Removal, processing and disposal of household waste was carried out as planned. Special attention was paid to Christmas fairs – 1.1 thousand workers and 380 pieces of equipment were involved in cleaning the grounds of the Travel to Christmas festival located in the city center around the clock.
