The air defense units of the coastal forces of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) began a march from the Primorsky Territory to the Republic of Buryatia to conduct live firing as part of routine combat training. The march with a length of more than 2.5 thousand km is performed in a combined way using railways and public roads.

Upon arrival at the specialized Telemba training ground, located in Buryatia, the crews of the Osa mobile anti-aircraft missile systems and other air defense systems will equip a field camp and begin practical combat training.

In the course of the field exit, a number of exercises were planned with the implementation of combat missile firing. Anti-aircraft gunners will practice organizing airspace protection, countering unmanned aerial vehicles and repelling an air strike against important military targets.

More than 200 servicemen were involved in the events. About 50 units of military and special equipment were involved, including the modernized Osa air defense missile systems, communication vehicles based on the BTR-80 and other modern equipment.
