Cadets of the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Military Corps took part in the qualifying round of the All-Army Intellectual Competition in the field of IT-technologies, organized by the Military Academy of Communications named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.M. Budyonny and the Cadet Corps (School of IT-technologies) (St. Petersburg ). The purpose of the competition is to identify and develop students’ profile creative abilities and interest in programming. To complete the tasks, the contestants were required to know various algorithms, the ability to effectively implement them using various data structures.

Nine cadets of the second, third and fourth companies joined the difficult and exciting struggle for the title of the best programmer in the country among the pre-university educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Young programmers of KMKVK showed a high level of training, perseverance and a desire to improve in the field of informatics. As a result of the three-hour competition, two pupils of the KMKVK became holders of diplomas of the second and third degrees: Markov Grigory (32 platoon) and Klubov Dmitry (22 platoon).
