More than 30 thousand people will be able to live in the new district next to the Spartak stadium.

In the eastern part of the former Tushino airfield, adjacent to the football stadium “Spartak”, a comprehensive urban development will be carried out. The new district will occupy about 156.3 hectares. Territory planning project approved Sergei Sobyanin at a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow Government.

The document defines the final parameters for the development of this site. Its development will become one of the largest urban development projects in Moscow for the next decade.

About 1.58 million square meters of real estate will appear on the territory, taking into account the floor area of ​​objects in the dimensions of the outer walls. Residential development will occupy 1.2 million square meters: it is planned to build three high-rise residential complexes and 15 apartment buildings with built-in and attached non-residential premises and underground parking. Two of them will be erected for the participants renovation programsliving in the Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo area.

Four schools for 3775 places and seven kindergartens for 1425 places will be built for children, their total area will be 84.5 thousand square meters.

A sports medicine center with an area of ​​14 thousand square meters, hotels with a total area of ​​46 thousand square meters and apartments (84.4 thousand square meters) will appear in the new quarters.

Shopping and entertainment centers (100.4 thousand square meters) will open for residents; will build a temple (nine thousand square meters), as well as a Sports Palace and a tennis sports center (39.4 thousand square meters).

A transport interchange hub will be erected near the exit from the Spartak metro station. Residents of the new quarter will be able to relax on the greened embankment of the Moskva River, in a park in the floodplain of the Khimki River. A wide city boulevard will also appear on the site of Projected Passage No. 1895.

The construction of a new district next to the Spartak stadium will create comfortable living conditions for 30.4 thousand people and over 6.3 thousand jobs.
