Specialists of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution (FGBU) “Central Housing and Utilities Administration” (“TsZhKU”) of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Southern Military District (YuVO) provided military camps with heat on New Year’s holidays without interruption.

To prevent the emergence of emergency situations in the period from December 28 to January 10, 26 emergency repair teams (337 people) with special equipment were involved, which were on high alert.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, specialists from the TsZhKU Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the Southern Military District checked the maintenance of over 1,750 systems – more than 1,000 water supply and sewerage systems, 750 heat and power systems, designed to provide consumers with communal resources at more than 6,000 barracks and housing facilities.

As a result of the set of measures taken, the reliability and uninterrupted operation of water supply systems was increased, the trouble-free operation of military and social infrastructure facilities was ensured, and the quality of service to consumers of public services was improved.

At 502 boiler houses, a fuel supply was created for more than 90 days (from 170 to 250%), dispatch services monitored the operation of the equipment of housing and communal services around the clock, the temperature regime in the residential premises corresponded to the established standards.
