The military personnel of the airborne assault units of the Marine Corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) conducted training in naval landing training (TIR) at the Scorpion training complex in Dagestan.

During the TIR, the servicemen practiced the actions of loading (unloading) combat vehicles onto landing craft at specially equipped training sites.

Also, the crews of the BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, during the landing on the move, conducted a training session on building a battle formation in a line of platoon and company columns on an unequipped section of the coast.

In turn, the driver-mechanics completed the tasks of preparing military vehicles for overcoming water obstacles, self-pulling when sinking into the sand, towing, and improved practical skills in driving equipment on land and afloat.

During training in amphibious assault training, servicemen work out ways to overcome water spaces on floating equipment under their own power, methods of loading and unloading personnel, military equipment onto landing ships and boats, and also study the devices of landing craft.

About 50 units of military and special equipment were involved in the development of training tasks.
