The Izoizolyatsiya competition is one of the most popular festive events in the institution, which is held for the third time. To recreate masterpieces, the teams mobilize all their creative forces. Women make props, select the background, make up the models so that they look like the characters on the canvases. Participants expand their knowledge of painting and, not wanting to repeat themselves, each time they choose more and more complex paintings that require careful work with details.

This year, participants in the Izoisolyatsiya-3 competition dared to recreate the paintings of the great masters of the Renaissance, presenting the paintings “Portrait of a Man” by Sandro Botticelli (1490) and “Lady under a Veil” by Raphael (1515). In the reconstruction of Jan Vermeer’s painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring” (circa 1665), the jewelry was replaced by a Christmas tree toy. And one of the models organically reincarnated as Anna Akhmatova, depicted in the portrait of Nathan Altmen in 1915.

For all participants, this competition gave the opportunity to see themselves in an amazing, unusual way and send picturesque photos to their relatives. New works have replenished the original gallery of Izoizolyatsiya, which already has several dozen photographs.
