In 2021, they were applied for more than 150 thousand times, which is almost five thousand more than a year earlier. Almost 50 percent of all applications were received electronically, while in the property and land sector, the number of online requests was over 95 percent,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations

In total, the City Property Department provides 34 public services, of which 21 are in the property and land sphere, that is, they are related to issues of land use and non-residential real estate. Since the spring of 2021, they have been provided exclusively in electronic form, most often business representatives apply for them. In 2021, almost 42 thousand requests were registered. 13 public services are associated with the housing sector, four of them are available online. They are mainly used by individuals; in 2021, 109,000 applications were submitted.

“The city pays close attention to the digitalization of services in the field of real estate, land and housing in order to make it as easy as possible for Muscovites to complete the necessary documents and obtain information. In 2021, the city transferred several services in this area to an exclusively electronic form. It was possible to fully automate the process of providing these online services thanks to the development of electronic interdepartmental interaction between authorities. On the mos.ru portal, citizens and entrepreneurs of the capital have access to more than 380 electronic services and services that can be issued online. Muscovites can solve almost any household issue electronically – from paying for a single payment document to submitting applications to take out unwanted items.

“Traditionally, the rating in terms of the number of applications received by the Department of City Property in the housing sector is headed by the state service “Provision of information and documents on rights to housing stock registered before January 31, 1998”. It was applied for over 29 thousand times – this is more than 26 percent of the total number of applications in this area. In second place – about 19 thousand applications – the conclusion of social employment contracts. In the property and land sector, the service “Assignment, change or cancellation of the address of the addressing object” became the most popular service, for which citizens and business representatives applied 10.5 thousand times. In demand was “Issuance of copies of certifying, title documents”, for which more than seven thousand requests were received, as well as “Providing a land plot for rent to owners of buildings, structures, structures located on a land plot” – about six thousand requests.
