A complex group of officers of the High Command of the Aerospace Forces under the leadership of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces for military-political work, Lieutenant General Alexander Maksimtsev, checked the organization of educational work with cadets of the A.F. Mozhaisky.

In the course of work at the university, Lieutenant-General Alexander Maksimtsev held a series of classes and meetings with the teaching staff, course officers and cadets, during which the effectiveness of forms and methods for increasing the motivation of future officers for military service and the main directions for improving educational work were discussed in Academy.

According to the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces, the formation of cadets and officers of political consciousness, high moral and strong-willed qualities, immunity to ideological and cultural values ​​alien to our society is of particular importance.

Based on the results of the work of a complex group of officers of the High Command of the Aerospace Forces, recommendations were issued to the command of the academy to increase the level of organizational activity in solving the problems of training and education of future officers of Russia.


Military Space Academy named after A.F. Mozhaisky – one of the oldest military educational institutions in the country – traces its history from the Engineering School, established by decree of Peter I on January 16, 1712. It was the first military educational institution in Russia to provide polytechnic education.

At present, the A.F. Mozhaisky, which is part of the Aerospace Forces, is a backbone university of the Russian Ministry of Defense, a leading educational, scientific and methodological center in the field of military space activities, information and telecommunication technologies and technologies for collecting and processing special information. One of the leading polytechnical universities of the Russian Ministry of Defense trains officers for the Aerospace Forces, military command and control agencies, types and branches of the Armed Forces, federal executive bodies in which military service is provided for by law.
