Temporary exhibition “Three Baltic Goddesses” has opened in the branch of the Central Naval Museum named after Emperor Peter the Great on the cruiser “Aurora”.

On May 23, 1897, celebrations were held in St. Petersburg on the occasion of the laying of three armored cruisers of the 1st rank: Pallada, Diana and Aurora. They received their names in memory of the frigates of the Baltic Fleet, whose fates turned out to be somehow connected with the events taking place in the Far East on the eve and during the Crimean War of 1853-1856.

The exhibition provides information on the construction and service of armored cruisers of the 1st rank “Pallada”, “Diana” and “Aurora”.
