The local branch of the “Youth Army” of the Bratsk district of the Angara region opened its five-year anniversary year with excursions to Irkutsk, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the region and to the regional DOSAAF, which is 95 years old.

In the defense society, the Yunarmiya met with the chairman of the regional branch of DOSAAF Alexei Lyskov, who wished the youth fruitful work and maximum efforts in preparing for military service.

In the same place, in DOSAAF, the Yunarmiya spoke with veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Retired lieutenant colonel Svetlana Bespalova had a useful conversation with them about the activities of OBNON and outlined the conditions for admission to educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The meeting with the head of the Yunarmiya regional headquarters, Alexander Starukhin, was important for the Yunarmiya members of the Bratsk District in that everyone received information about the planned events in the coming year and about new projects of Yunarmiya affairs.

Deputy Chairman of the Regional Department of DOSAAF Sergei Usov became a guide for the children in the museum of the history of the defense society, the audience for the training of future military personnel, and the gym. The members of the Yunarmiya were impressed by the film “100-kilometer march” and shooting from an air rifle, moreover, many Yunarmy members passed the standards of the TRP complex for this type.

Members of the Yunarmiya of the Bratsk District accepted an invitation to visit the Museum of Sports Glory of the Angara Region, which is headed by the Honored Worker of Physical Culture of Russia Alexander Shirshikov. The guests were delighted with the variety of exhibits and information about the fate of fellow countrymen – Olympic champions.

A multifaceted and eventful trip to Irkutsk and Angarsk allowed us to open the new year 2022 with colorful impressions, new acquaintances, ideas and creative plans.
