Epiphany bathing will be organized for the servicemen of the Rostov-on-Don garrison and parishioners.

On the opening day of the font, the logistic support units of the 150th motorized rifle division will set up heated tents for changing clothes, set up field kitchens for making hot tea and sandwiches.

The musical accompaniment of the event will be provided by the art groups of the garrison, the song and dance ensemble of the Southern Military District, and the military orchestra. The repertoire includes popular songs about winter and musical compositions of Russian classics.

Military doctors will deploy a medical center on the basis of the pneumoframe module, and will also monitor compliance with antiviral measures.

In total, about 80 fonts are equipped for baptismal bathing on the territory of the military temples of formations and military units of the Southern Military District. More than 40,000 servicemen of the Southern Military District are preparing to take part in Epiphany bathing, which will take place on January 18-19.
