The command of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, together with the Kazakh side, developed a plan for the return of peacekeepers to their countries.

The first units of Russian paratroopers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, who performed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, having flown four Il-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny airfield, returned home.

On January 14, having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan will return to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The unit of peacekeepers of the Kyrgyz Republic will march to the point of permanent deployment on standard vehicles under its own power.

On January 15, the return of the Russian contingent of the CSTO peacekeeping forces to their bases will continue.

The return of the peacekeepers to the points of permanent deployment is planned to be completed by January 19.
