Revaccination of servicemen, their family members and civilian personnel of formations and military units of the Central Military District (CMD), as well as organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defense within the boundaries of responsibility of the military district will be completed on February 1. This was announced by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.

“By February 1 this year, we will complete the revaccination of military personnel of the military district, as well as organizations and institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation within the boundaries of responsibility,” said Colonel General Alexander Lapin.

He noted that more than 350,000 doses of vaccine have been delivered to the medical institutions of the Central Military District to preserve the life and health of servicemen.

“To date, almost 145 thousand military personnel, civilian personnel and members of their families have already been revaccinated in the Central Military District. Vaccination and revaccination allowed to reduce the incidence by half. Particular attention was paid to revaccination at Russian military bases in Central Asia, which we have already completed,” added the commander of the Central Military District.

Within the limits of responsibility of the Central Military District, a set of measures is being taken on an ongoing basis in all departments to prevent the incidence and spread of coronavirus infection. At the checkpoints of formations, military units and institutions, medical workers are constantly on duty, barrier thermometry is organized and the issuance of respiratory protection equipment.


The Central Military District is deployed on the territory of 29 constituent entities of the Russian Federation in three federal districts. Structurally, the district includes a number of foreign facilities: the 201st military base on the territory of Tajikistan, a joint military base in Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan.
