Twenty aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces (2 An-124 Ruslan aircraft and 18 Il-76 aircraft) with Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO arrived from Kazakhstan at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow.

At the airfield, the military personnel of the Airborne Forces unloaded weapons, military equipment, property, after which they marched to the point of permanent deployment.

Today, VTA planes continued to deliver personnel and equipment of the Airborne Forces after completing peacekeeping tasks to the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region.

Earlier, units of Russian paratroopers from the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, who completed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out a flight by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny (Ivanovo region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) airfields and returned home.

On January 14, having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, the peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on standard equipment under its own power.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent deployment points is planned to be completed by January 19.
