Central City Youth Library named after M.A. Svetlova invites lovers of classical vocal music to the concert “An Evening of Classical Vocal Music”.

The concert is dedicated to the memory of Galina Kuznetsova, teacher, soloist of the Stanislavsky Theater and Nemirovich Danchenko.

The performers will perform arias and duets from operas by Russian and foreign composers: Giovanni Battista Pergolesi – “Stabat Mater”, Georg Friedrich Handel – “Pieta signore”, Giacomo Puccini – Butterfly aria from the opera “Madama Butterfly”, Pietro Mascagni – Santuzzi’s aria from the opera ” Rural Honor, Charles Francois Gounod – Marguerite’s aria from the opera Faust, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – duet of Lisa and Polina from the opera The Queen of Spades, Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov – Spring’s aria from the opera The Snow Maiden, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – duet Tatiana and Olga from the opera Eugene Onegin, Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov – Lel’s third song from the opera The Snow Maiden, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Tatiana’s letter from the opera Eugene Onegin.

The participants of the concert are Antonina Ovchinnikova and Tatyana Smirnova, laureates of All-Russian and International competitions.
