Today, units of the Arctic motorized rifle brigade of the army corps of the Northern Fleet carried out live firing from various types of small arms and grenade launchers in the difficult conditions of the Arctic.

Training took place at one of the training grounds near the village of Alakurtti, Murmansk Region. The wind speed in the training area reached 25-27 meters per second, a strong snowstorm and poor visibility did not interfere with the quality of combat training.

During the training, the Arctic motorized riflemen performed single live firing exercises from RPG-7, Kalashnikov assault rifles and machine guns, and also worked out the standards for throwing live grenades.

In addition, the servicemen practiced skiing behind A-1 army snowmobiles in tow. Performed exercises in shooting from regular weapons on the move.

More than 600 servicemen took part in the exercises, more than 100 different static and dynamic targets were used to create a combat environment close to combat.
